महाराष्ट्रातील ॲग्रीस्टॅक AgriStack in Maharashtra

ॲग्रीस्टॅक ही शेतीविषयक माहितीची डिजिटल पायाभूत रचना आहे. यात मुख्यतः तीन गोष्टी जोडल्या जातात:

• शेतकरी नोंदवही (Farmer Registry) — शेतकऱ्याची आधार-आधारित ओळख आणि त्याची जमीन
• भूसंदर्भित जमीन नोंदी — जमिनीचा नकाशाशी जोडलेला तपशील
• पीक पाहणी (Crop Survey) — त्या जमिनीवर प्रत्यक्ष काय आहे

या तिन्ही जोडल्यावर "कोणत्या शेतकऱ्याच्या कोणत्या जमिनीवर कोणते पीक आहे" या प्रश्नाचे उत्तर एका जागी मिळते. योजनांचे लाभ, विमा आणि खरेदी यांसाठी हेच उत्तर आवश्यक असते.

केंद्र सरकारने डिजिटल कृषी अभियान सप्टेंबर २०२४ मध्ये मंजूर केले — संसदेतील अधिकृत उत्तरात याची नोंद आहे.

AgriStack is digital infrastructure for agricultural data. It joins up three things:

• a Farmer Registry — the farmer's Aadhaar-based identity and their land
• geo-referenced land records — land detail tied to the map
• a crop survey — what is actually growing on that land

Put together, they answer "which farmer, which parcel, which crop" in one place. That answer is what scheme benefits, insurance and procurement need.

The central government approved the Digital Agriculture Mission in September 2024, as recorded in an official Parliament reply.

ॲग्रीस्टॅकच्या अधिकृत शेतकरी नोंदवही प्रश्नोत्तर दस्तऐवजात महाराष्ट्राचा स्पष्ट उल्लेख आहे. त्यानुसार उत्तर प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र आणि छत्तीसगड यांनी १००% नोंदींसाठी फार्म आयडी तयार केले आहेत, आणि महाराष्ट्राने त्यापुढे जाऊन फेरफारच्या वेळी होणारे बदलही यंत्रणेत सामावून घेण्याची सुविधा सुरू केली आहे.

संसदेत दिलेल्या अधिकृत उत्तरानुसार २० जुलै २०२६ पर्यंत देशभरात १०.१८ कोटींहून अधिक फार्मर आयडी तयार झाले होते, आणि महाराष्ट्र आघाडीवरच्या राज्यांपैकी एक आहे.

त्याच शेतकरी नोंदवही दस्तऐवजात हेही नमूद आहे की शेतीच्या गटांसाठी फार्मलँड आयडी अनिवार्य आहे, आणि इतर गटांसाठी ऐच्छिक — राज्य त्याबाबत निर्णय घेऊ शकते.

The official AgriStack Farmer Registry FAQ document names Maharashtra directly. It states that Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh have created Farm ID against 100% of records, and that Maharashtra has gone further by enabling the changes that happen during mutation to flow through.

Per an official answer given in Parliament, more than 10.18 crore Farmer IDs had been created nationwide by 20 July 2026, with Maharashtra among the leading states.

The same Farmer Registry document notes that Farmland ID is mandatory for agriculture plots and optional for others, with the state free to decide.

A fair question to ask. The Digital Crop Survey app's official privacy policy answers it. Per that policy, the app may request:

• farmer's name, mobile number, address
• gender, caste, email address
• farming detail including plot area and the plot's geo-location
• IP address and unique device identifiers

The same policy notes the app uses Google Play Services, that log data is collected when an error occurs, and that the policy is effective from 27 September 2023. It gives us-it@gov.in as the contact for privacy questions.

No. Separate DCS apps with near-identical descriptions are on Google Play for several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Assam, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh. Each state has its own app and its own package name.

One practical consequence: another state's DCS app will not work for Maharashtra. Make sure you install the MH one.
