No. The official apps are free on Google Play, and the official Digital Crop Survey privacy policy states the service is provided at no cost. Anyone asking you to pay for an entry is not an official channel.

We do not publish a date we have not verified. Dates change every year and extensions are common, so a date found online or on WhatsApp is usually stale. Open the app or ask at the Talathi office. Our seasons and dates page explains how to find the current one.

No. The app checks your location and will not proceed from outside the plot boundary. The official DCS MH description itself says the surveyor has to go to the field location.

वापरकर्त्यांच्या अभिप्रायांनुसार छायाचित्राशिवाय नोंद पाठवता येत नाही. छायाचित्र त्याच वेळी काढावे लागते; गॅलरीतील जुने छायाचित्र चालत नाही.

Per user reports, an entry cannot be submitted without one. The photo has to be taken there and then; an old one from the gallery will not do.

You do not need a connection for the location fix, since GPS works off satellites. You do need one to send the record to the server. Capture in the field and try to sync where there is coverage. Whether that works depends on the build, so check the entry actually went through.

A screenshot of the receipt or reference number, and dated photographs of your crop. Neither is an official requirement, but if a dispute comes up later you have something to point to.

Check precise-location permission, turn on High accuracy in the phone's Location settings, move to open sky and wait a full minute, and try from the middle of the field. If it still fails, check the plot boundary on MahaBhuNaksha; the map itself may be wrong, and that can only be corrected at the Talathi office. Full detail on our problems and fixes page.

This is a documented complaint in user reviews. Check whether registration actually completed, use Forgot Password and wait a few minutes, update the app, and clear the cache. If it still fails, go to the Talathi office; an account-level problem can only be resolved administratively. See login help.

The app does not build the land list itself; it comes from the revenue records. So this is usually a source-record issue — a pending mutation, a name mismatch, or an incomplete inheritance entry. Pull your 7/12 extract, check it, and if something is wrong get it corrected via a written application at the Talathi office.

Because we could not verify a current official one. Publishing a wrong or outdated number is worse than publishing none, particularly with fraudulent numbers circulating in search results. Get the official number from inside the app or from your Talathi office.

No. You enter Aadhaar-linked details, a mobile number and your location into this app. A repackaged APK can send those elsewhere, and you have no way to confirm the build is genuine. Install from Google Play only. We do not distribute APK files.

No. We are an independent information site. We cannot make, check or correct an entry, and we hold none of your government data. A privacy request has to go to the app's own publisher.

Do not give it. No genuine official asks for an OTP. If you need someone else to handle land-related tasks, use the authorisation facility in the Farmer Registry MH app rather than handing over your phone and OTP.
