थोडक्यात: या संकेतस्थळावर काही चुकीचे किंवा जुने आढळले तर आम्हाला कळवा. आम्ही अधिकृत स्रोताकडे तपासून दुरुस्ती करतो. मात्र सरकारी नोंदीतील चूक आम्ही दुरुस्त करू शकत नाही — त्यासाठी तलाठी कार्यालयातच जावे लागते.
In short: If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us. We check it against the official source and fix it. We cannot correct an error in a government record; that has to go through the Talathi office.
Why this page exists
This site describes a process that changes. Some of what is written here will go out of date, and some of it will simply be wrong. Saying how we handle that is more useful than pretending it will not happen.
What to report
- a factual error
- information that has gone out of date, particularly a season date or a process step
- a link that no longer works, or that now points somewhere unexpected
- an official portal or app that has moved to a new address
- a Marathi translation that reads awkwardly or changes the meaning
- anything that could be mistaken for an official government statement
How to report it
Use the contact form and pick the correction topic. It helps enormously if you include the page address and, where you can, the official source that shows the correct position.
What we do
We check the report against the official source. Then:
- Clear factual error: corrected, and the review date on the page is updated.
- Something that has become unverifiable: the specific claim is removed rather than replaced with a guess. The page will then say the information is unverified and point to the official source.
- Broken or moved link: updated to the new official address, or removed if there is no longer an official destination.
- Something we cannot confirm either way: we say so on the page instead of choosing a side.
Small fixes such as typographical errors and broken links are made quietly. A correction that changes the substance of what a page told people is noted on the page, because a reader who acted on the earlier version deserves to know it changed.
What we cannot correct
We can only fix this website. We cannot correct an error in a government record, a crop survey entry, a 7/12 extract or a Farmer Registry entry. Those corrections are made by the relevant office, normally starting with the Talathi office, and we have no route into any of those systems.
